Footy Fever at Lobethal Lutheran

Story ThumbnailOn Wednesday, September 27th, 2006 the students at the Lobethal Lutheran School participated in an Aussie Rules Footy Clinic at their school run by the Norwood Football Club.

Two SANFL players, Matthew and Brendon from the Norwood Football Club, conducted sessions with all the year levels.
Each session started with a warm up and games using the oval footballs.

The groups were then divided and instruction was given on handballing and kicking for goals.

Fun was had by all when the game of Red Rover was modified and the hand ball skills were put to the test.

At the end of the sessions, the students were given Norwood Football Club promotional items, plus a ticket to the SANFL Grand final!
