The Residents and Staff of the Hahndorf Residential Care Service in Hahndorf held their annual Mother’s Day Trading Table on Sunday, 13th May. This fundraiser for the residents raises money to enable residents to enjoy trips, entertainment and generally brighten up their days.

Many of the items displayed for sale on the day were hand made by the residents from the craft and knitting groups, garden club and men’s group, plus donations from staff, family and friends. This year has been a particularly overwhelming success due to those who generously donated gifts and their time to ensure the day ran smoothly, as well as being blessed with a beautiful mild, sunny day.

The success of this day means a lot to the residents during the coming months as it enables the activity co-ordinators to extend the array of activities organised for residents. The Residents and Staff of the Hahndorf Residential Care facility would like to thank all those people who made the Mother’s Day Trading Table day such a wonderful success!!
