Haven’t visited the new Woodside Library yet?

New Woodside LibraryThen here’s some great reasons to drop in at your earliest opportunity!

As part of joining the library, you will receive a free library bag.

You can then choose from a ton of books, DVDs, CDs, PC games, magazines, graphic novels and comics, and if you want something that isn’t on the shelf, we can find it at another library and get it sent to Woodside for you!

Newspapers are delivered each day for you to read and the latest magazines wait patiently to be flipped through while you have a coffee or hot chocolate.

Or bring in your laptop, organise your password, and tap into our 24/7 free wireless internet access. No lap top? Then we have bookable PCs ready and waiting.

There’s even more free stuff waiting on-line at www.ahc.sa.gov.au/library. Explore ‘Price-It’ , a price guide to antiques, ‘Press Display’ with worldwide daily newspapers, free craft templates in ‘Hobbies’ or medical and drug information on ‘Health & Wellness’ – and that’s just a few of the databases available.

For mums and babies there are two extra-special reasons to visit the Woodside Library.

Firstly they get their very own free library bag complete with books and a DVD inside. Secondly, there is a terrific sing-along session each Friday at 11am for babies under 2 years, with nursery rhymes and action songs.

Toddlers aren’t forgotten – on Tuesdays at 11am they have their own Toddler StoryTime with stories, songs and a craft activity to take home.

Woodside Library is also home to a big toy bear. It is white, fluffy and friendly – and we are searching for the perfect name.

If you are under 10 years of age, help us name it and you could also win a prize!

To enter fill in a form at the Woodside Library or email library@ahc.sa.gov.au with your suggestion, your own name, age and contact number.
