In a weekend of celebration, the Hahndorf Town Band honoured its forbears who established a legacy of musicmaking now enjoyed throughout the Adelaide Hills.

In glorious autumn sunshine, The South Australian Highland Breeders Group held its Feature Breed Show, on Saturday, March 18th at Mt Pleasant.
The event saw one of the states largest gathering of Highland Cattle and their exhibitors for 2006.

In February, students from the Lobethal Lutheran School were treated to a practical example of what their actions can achieve.
A fortnight earlier, the School Captains, Rebecca Larecki and Samuel Rohrlach voiced their concern at the well-worn appearance of the Australian flag flying from the flagpole daily in the School grounds, so it was suggested that they act to replace it. On Thursday, March 9th, members of the Gumeracha Soldiers Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Torrens Valley Lionâ€™s Club and the Top of the Torrens Players were invited to the Gumeracha Soldierâ€™s Memorial Hospital for afternoon tea to thank them for redecorating the TV Lounge Room.
